I am creating this GoFundMe to support my dear friend Michelle and her two boys, Brady and Alex, after the heartbreaking loss of their husband and father, Scott. Scott was not only an incredible dad, but also a devoted husband who deeply loved and supported his family. He was the kind of dad who showed up — fully and lovingly — for his boys. He loved being on the water, fishing side-by-side with them, cheering them on from the sidelines at soccer, basketball, and football games, and spending countless hours building Pinewood Derby racing cars, always encouraging their creativity and celebrating every small win. His greatest joy was simply being their dad.

Losing Scott has left an unimaginable hole in this family’s world — a loss made even heavier as Michelle and the boys face this grief during the Christmas season, when his presence would have meant everything. The Donovan family has always been the kind of family who shows up for others, offering help, kindness, and support whenever it was needed.
