On January 20th, our world went dark when our bright shining light, Sawyer Matthew Kanofsky, was suddenly taken from us despite the heroic efforts by the first responders and emergency staff. We would like to thank everyone who has reached out and has continuously prayed for our family. It is your prayers that have given Mary and Bryan the strength to take another breath and another step forward. The love and support has been truly overwhelming. For those who have been asking what you can do during these times, the family would like to honor Sawyer by supporting those who gave everything they could to save the brightest light of our lives and to those who selflessly chose to be with us on our worst day. The funds collected will be donated to Columbia EMS, Columbia Police Department, and Mercy South Emergency Department in Sawyer's name. Please help us keep his light shining.
