Thursday, March 20th our dear friend, Shauna, a nurse at Hospice of Redmond experienced the ultimate loss, the loss of a child.  Shauna’s daughter, Sara Edwards, 19, lost her life in a tragic automobile accident on Hwy 97.  Sara left behind her soul mate, her loving family, and her many friends.  This Go Fund Me page is being set up to assist Shauna in paying for the costs associated with this tragedy.

Sara’s friend provided this beautiful quote: 
“You brought into this world a Beautiful Masterpiece.  She was beyond words beautiful, and kind, inside and out.  The world was blessed truly to have such a magnificent soul.”

Every rainbow will forever be a reminder of Sara’s bright smile and beautiful soul.  Working in hospice cannot prepare your heart for such a loss.  But even in the midst of tragedy, Shauna has chosen to be a light in the life of someone else.  Shauna has requested that a portion of the proceeds of this fundraiser be donated to Redmond Memorial Chapel in honor of the wonderful care they have provided her daughter and family.  These funds are to support families who are unable to afford the costs associated with funeral services.  (Thank you Aaron.)  A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to Hospice of Redmond,  supporting Shauna’s work family, who Shauna lovingly calls "Sara's army".
