Honoring Sara & Loredana’s wishes for Sophie
Donation protected
On October 16, 2021 family and friends suffered a tragic sudden loss of two brilliant and beloved women. Sara Kun and her mother Loredana Kun were well known and loved by many for their benevolent hearts and larger than life personas.
Sara Kun was a dedicated and loving mother to her three year old Sophie and husband Eugene. She was a hardworking lawyer by profession, but also known to her friends and family as a philanthropist, artist, singer and editor. She had many talents and lit up any room she walked into. She was kind, compassionate, immensely talented and incredibly funny. She gave to all those around her and anyone in need wholeheartedly, often putting the needs of others before her own.
Loredana Kun was exceptionally talented, kind, charismatic and respected. She excelled as Sara’s mother and Sophie’s grandmother. She leaves behind her dear husband, George. From teaching, composing music and art, publishing literature, working as a journalist/reporter for one of Croatia’s major publications, and practicing naturopathy and homeopathy there really wasn’t anything Loredana couldn’t excel in.
These hardworking women gave everything to make a positive mark in society and set an example for their dearest Sophie. As those left behind struggle to come to terms with their loss we would like to take some of the financial strain off of the loved ones left behind and to assist with the ongoing care of Sophie’s needs and education. Our hope is to not only celebrate the life of Sara and Loredana, but to assist with fulfilling their hopes and dreams for Sophie’s future.
We understand not everyone will be able to assist financially to support Sophie and her family. We kindly ask those who are not able to donate to please share our page and help us to reach out to as many helping hands as they can. May both of these beautiful women Rest In Peace and know these are forever missed but live on within their family and friends hearts.
