Hello all. My name is Thawann and on behalf of the Jordan/Handy/Dove family, I am creating this GoFundMe account with hopes that it will help provide future financial support that will be needed.

On the early morning of December 16, 2025, the family of Sara Jordan was awakened to the devastating and unexpected news of her passing. Her family has been left with having to quickly navigate through where she left off, while also having to make memorial arrangements and handle important matters that are needed to be done in order for them to honor Sara for the beautiful, loving, and strong-spirited woman she was.

As many of you know, Sara leaves behind an only child, her absolute pride and joy, her son Kaies. Sara and Kaies had a bond that was immeasurably stronger than words will ever be able to decipher. From the moment he was born, Sara dedicated herself to making him the remarkable, respectful, and accomplished young man that he is today. She worked seven days a week, through all kinds of weather, from sunrise to sunset to provide for herself, her son, and for his future.

Financially, Sara was the one who provided Kaies with the funds for his education. He is currently a full-time sophomore at Lebanon Valley College, which is a private university in Annville, Pennsylvania. Before being accepted to Lebanon Valley, he attended Great Mills High School where he played football, was on the track team, and maintained an excellent GPA.

Sara and his immediate family members made sure that they would attend his home games as many times as they could, with recently attending just in November. From the time that Kaies was a kid, playing football for his hometown’s local parks and recreation (Mechanicsville Braves, Leonardtown Wildcats), Sara was his biggest fan and she always will be!

Not only is Kaies an exceptional football player, he is also an excellent student and continues to excel in his full-time classes. If you follow Sara on social media, you have seen Sara post about how well he has been doing both off and on the field. With her recently posting about him making “defensive player of the game” and him: “knockin' em down on the field and crushing it in the classroom this year.” ❤️

Sara would never want anything to affect his educational success and his chances at going as far as his future will take him. That is why she worked so hard to make sure that his future would be financially secure.

Many of you have already asked how you could support the family at this devastating time. The biggest way that you can do that is by donating to this fund to secure that Kaies will have the funds that he will need for his future journey at LVC. All funds will be invested in his future and go directly towards Kaies’s journey. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated by him and greatly appreciated by his family. This will give them a huge peace of mind knowing that this will not be a hardship for them to face as they continue to process through the grief and unexpected loss of someone who played a huge part in their life, in so many different ways.
