We never imagined we would be writing something like this.
In the span of a short time, we lost our baby daughter. The grief has been overwhelming. There are days I don’t know how to stand up under the weight of it — but I have to. I have a family who is hurting just as deeply, including a two-year-old son who still needs his dad to show up every single day.
At the same time, I am actively searching for work in the St. Louis area and surrounding communities. I am applying everywhere I can. I am willing to work any shift, any hours. But while I search, our bills do not stop.
Right now, this fundraiser is not about comfort. It is about survival.
The money raised will go directly toward:
-Rent and utilities
-Diapers and food for our toddler
-Basic necessities while I secure employment.
If we cannot bridge this gap, we will be forced to live out of our car with a two-year-old child. That is a sentence I never thought I would write. If you can give — even $5 or $10 — it matters more than you know. If you cannot give, sharing this could truly change our situation. We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for stability while we rebuild after losing our daughter. Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping us stay together and safe.
