Honoring Santiago Alcantar's Legacy

Dear Family and friends,

We set up this GoFundMe page during this devastating and unimaginable loss in hopes of raising funds to cover medical expenses from the 2 week long hospital stay and surgery. Santiago suffered multiple strokes and required an emergency surgery, but ultimately succumbed due to trauma. We plan on having Santiago Alcantars End-of-life-Celebration on Nov 9th, big enough to accommodate all that are willing and able to come. Most importantly, this support will allow his loved ones to focus on grieving and celebrating his life without the added stress of financial burden. We thank you for all donations, and ask that if you cannot donate at this time, simply share this in hopes of reaching more people to help support and give strength to the Alcantar family.

Born and raised in Glendale, California, he quickly became known in school for his captivating dance moves, winning competitions and best dancer in his school yearbook.

Santiago later moved to El Paso, Texas where he graduated from Socorro High School. It was during this time that he discovered his lifelong passions of cars- an enthusiasm that would stay with him throughout his life. He soon embraced fatherhood and his journey took him back to California.

With his children by his side, he dedicated himself to his work and his creativity flourished through his art and tattoos.

In the last decade of his life, Santiago returned to El Paso, where he cherished the time spent with his children and welcomed the joy of grandchildren. He was not only a devoted father and grandfather but also a man who achieved many of his dreams, including owning his dream cars, dream home, and a successful business. Santiago's story is one of love, hard work, and a passion for life that left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Santiago was truly a remarkable individual, known for so many wonderful qualities. His vibrant energy and charismatic presence touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. The moment he entered a room, it was as if warmth entered the hearts of everyone around him. He greeted each person with genuine love and his infectious smile, making everyone feel special. No matter how many years had passed since their last meeting, Santiago embraced you as if no time had passed at all, his love and affection only deepening over time. His greatest joy came from visiting and spending precious moments with family and friends, which he cherished deeply.

Santiago leaves behind his beloved mother, six siblings, four children, and five grandchildren, all of whom loved him dearly and will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
