Sandra Espino Diaz, 55, was a supportive mother to Elizabeth Serrano (14) and Enrique Serrano (29), a loyal friend, and a constant source of joy to all who knew her. She had an incredible ability to make everyone around her feel heard and loved, quickly breaking down barriers to form genuine connections. She was loved and cared for by many.

She spent her last four years battling end-stage liver disease, surrounded by the love and support of her family. She had an immense capacity to love and we are grieved to have lost our number-one fan, mother, and best friend.

While we are grateful and rejoice that she found Christ in her final years, the Serrano family begins their grief journey with Enrique and his wife, Anna, taking on the responsibility of caring for Elizabeth, with hopes of healing together as a family and creating a new home without their loved one.

In honor of Sandra, Enrique and Anna are establishing a fund to support Elizabeth's future. The funds raised will go toward college and a car, as well as memorial expenses and other costs associated with the loss of a loved one.

We deeply appreciate your support during this challenging time, and we are grateful for the love and generosity that will help carry us forward as we navigate this difficult chapter.

Tenía una capacidad increíble para hacer que todos los que la rodeaban se sintieran escuchados y amados, rompiendo rápidamente barreras para formar conexiones genuinas. Muchos la amaban y cuidaban.

Pasó sus últimos cuatro años luchando contra una enfermedad hepática terminal, rodeada del amor y apoyo de su familia. Tenía una inmensa capacidad de amar y lamentamos haber perdido a nuestra fan número uno, madre y mejor amiga.

Si bien estamos agradecidos y regocijados de que ella haya encontrado a Cristo en sus últimos años, la familia Serrano comienza su viaje de duelo con Enrique y su esposa, Anna, asumiendo la responsabilidad de cuidar a Elizabeth, con la esperanza de sanar juntos como familia y crear un nuevo hogar sin su ser querido.

En honor a Sandra, Enrique y Anna están creando un fondo para apoyar el futuro de Elizabeth. Los fondos recaudados se destinarán a la universidad y a un automóvil, así como a gastos conmemorativos y otros costos asociados con la pérdida de un ser querido.
