Honoring Sa'Mya's Memory Together

As I write this on behalf of my sister I am completely numb and torn to pieces Never would I have thought that I would have to write something like this but Mya baby you light up the room with your smile and energy!!! You will forever be missed & NEVER FORGOTTEN...

Hi everyone, my name is Shanyah Castro and my sister whose name is Sa'Mya Castro had just recently found out that she had lupus. As a 20 year old who was just living a normal life attending college to become a teacher, being a great aunt to her nephew(my son) working and attending to her responsibilities. When she then went to the hospital for some simple stomach pains which then turned out to be way bigger than she thought!!!

My sister had been admitted in the hospital on June 6 where she then spent over a month there. The lupus had started to affect her brain and has caused her to have 2 seizures which did shock her memory. My mother and I spent days at a time in the hospital with her, helping her to recover her memory and try to make her feel confident in herself again. This was a really tough time for my sister and she fought as hard as she could!! I appreciate everyone that's been there for my family as we go through this hard time!!. I am writing this with a heavy heart and I just want to be able to bury my sister the way she deserves as me and my family was not prepared due to her passing so suddenly... This was the worst thing that could've happened and I just want to be able to help my sister in the financial aspect of it because I feel like that's the least I could do...

Anything that's donated would be going towards funeral arrangements and giving her the going away that she deserves. Even if you cannot help out financially, please share and or repost.

Update: I know we haven't reached the goal yet, but everything counts!! I just want to say thank you to everyone that's donated so far...  I was already able to purchase some things that's needed for the funeral... I am very thankful and grateful!
