Sage’s Gift: Fund Compassionate Students w. ADHD

Grief is an ocean that rages deep within, filled with memories, love, and aching loss. Today, we're reaching out to share the story of Sage Phoenix Corlett Waters, a remarkable young soul whose time on this Earth was tragically cut short. His life, though short, was luminous; full of mischief, laughter, and boundless energy. As his father, I remember every adventure, every #BuildingCharacter moment, and the joy he brought to our lives, even in the face of personal challenges.

From the early days when Sage ran toward danger, laughing off precautions, to his teenage years exploring the open road, he left a mark on every life he touched. His passion for flying, total freedom, and his dream of space exploration showed us the depth of his spirit. But, like many young individuals, Sage had his struggles, notably with ADHD.

However, adversity never defined him. Instead, it honed his resilience and amplified his empathy. That's why we're not just asking for help with the unexpected and burdensome costs of a funeral and memorial for Sage; we're looking to the future. A future where other young individuals, especially those with ADHD who demonstrate an inherent wish to help others, can benefit from Sage’s legacy.

Our initial goal was $2003, a nod to the year of Sage’s birth. Every dollar beyond that will go toward setting up a scholarship in Sage's honor, destined to support kids with ADHD who’ve shown a propensity for aiding others.

Sage was the heartbeat of our family, a musician, an artist, an engineer and so much more. The gaping hole left by his absence is felt every day. But with your help, we can transform this profound loss into an opportunity, creating a ripple effect of good in the world in Sage's name.
