Honoring Rudy Almanza: San Antonio Artist SLVR's Legacy
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
With shattered hearts, we share the devastating loss of our beloved Rudy Almanza—known to many as SLVR—a remarkable artist, husband, father, son, and brother who left an indelible mark on everyone who had the honor of knowing him. Rudy passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Wednesday, January 22, 2025 leaving behind a void that words cannot capture.
Rudy’s story was one of transformation, resilience, and hope. Through his art, he turned pain into beauty and created portraits of passed loved ones that touched hearts across San Antonio and beyond. His talent wasn’t just about painting—it was about connecting people to their cherished memories, bringing healing through his brushstrokes. Rudy’s passion wasn’t just seen on the canvas—it radiated through his kindness, his faith, and his unwavering dedication to lifting others up.
He is survived by his two beautiful children, Max and Luna, who were his pride and joy, and his loving wife, Linda Dee Boca-Rod, who was his anchor and soulmate. Rudy also leaves behind his mother Olga Almanza, siblings, and an extended family that adored him. He will forever be remembered by the countless friends, admirers, and community members who were inspired by his life, his work, and his heart.
Rudy’s light was extraordinary, and his loss has left us broken. As we try to honor his memory, we are raising funds to cover the unexpected costs of this tragic void and to give Rudy the celebration of life he truly deserves. Every donation will help us not only honor his legacy but also support his family as they navigate life without him.
Rudy believed in love, in art, and in the power of community. To those who have been touched by his story, his paintings, or his life, we humbly ask for your support—whether it’s through a donation, a prayer, or sharing this campaign. Together, we can remember Rudy for the light he brought into this world and ensure his family feels the love and support he so generously gave to others.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a part of Rudy’s journey. We are deeply grateful for your love and generosity during this unimaginable time.
In the words of my beloved brother "Be safe gente!!!"
With gratitude and love,
