With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved mother Ruby, or as others knew her as Santos and Chica. She passed in her home on March 19th, 2025 and she is now reunited her loved ones. While we are filled with grief, we find comfort that she is now resting in peace.

My mother's illness came as a profound shock to everyone who knew her. She was a pillar of strength and independence, and she certainly did not want to leave us.

She is survived by her children: Jose Jr., Ernesto, Carolina, and Arlene. Her legacy also lives on through her grandchildren: Andrew, Aaliyah, Emilia, and Elina. Each of us cherished many beautiful moments with her, and we all shared a unique and special bond with her, from the most challenging times to the happiest memories.

During this difficult time, we are seeking support, and any contributions would be deeply appreciated. Thank you for standing by us in this period of grief.
