This past Wednesday, August 13, 2024, our lives were forever changed.

My beloved grandmother, Rosy, passed away suddenly. Her passing has been an overwhelming shock to us all, especially myself, as she was on her way to church, sending messages just minutes before.

Rosy was loved deeply by her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and especially me. She lived a life devoted to the things she cherished the most: her family, her faith, her hobbies. She was a devout Catholic, a lifelong member at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, and a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church where she resided in Wills Point, Texas. It brings me comfort to know she passed on her way to a place she loved, a place that gave her peace and joy.

Beyond her devotion to the Lord, my grandmother poured endless amounts of love into caring for her family and friends. Whether it was her cooking, looking after the children, or simply greeting with kisses and hugs, she never missed a chance to show her love.

As we navigate this unimaginable loss, my family and I want to give her the honor she truly deserves. We kindly ask for your support, whether it is through donation, share, or prayer. Every contribution helps to cover funeral expenses and allow us to celebrate Rosy’s beautiful life in the way she deserves.

As her granddaughter, I want to say thank you. I truly appreciate every bit of support from the bottom of my heart.

El pasado miércoles 13 de agosto de 2024, nuestras vidas cambiaron para siempre.

Mi querida abuela, Rosy, falleció repentinamente. Su fallecimiento ha sido un shock para todos, especialmente para mí, ya que minutos antes se dirigía a la iglesia y enviaba mensajes.

Rosy era profundamente querida por sus hijos, nietos, familiares, amigos y, especialmente, por mí. Vivió una vida dedicada a lo que más apreciaba: su familia, su fe, sus aficiones. Era una católica devota, miembro de toda la vida de la Iglesia Católica de María Inmaculada en Farmers Branch y de la Iglesia Católica de San Lucas, donde residía en Wills Point, Texas. Me reconforta saber que falleció camino a un lugar que amaba, un lugar que le brindó paz y alegría.

Más allá de su devoción al Señor, mi abuela dedicaba una inmensa cantidad de amor al cuidado de su familia y amigos. Ya fuera cocinando, cuidando a los niños o simplemente saludando con besos y abrazos, nunca perdía la oportunidad de demostrar su cariño. Mientras afrontamos esta pérdida inimaginable, mi familia y yo queremos rendirle el homenaje que realmente merece. Les pedimos su apoyo, ya sea mediante donaciones, donaciones o oraciones. Cada contribución ayuda a cubrir los gastos funerarios y nos permite celebrar la hermosa vida de Rosy como se merece.
