Sidora Rosa Barroso Reyes was born on April 4, 1966, in Vista Hermosa, Mexico, and resided in Riverdale, Maryland, for over 20 years.

Rosa, a sweet, gentle woman with an enormous smile, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2024, under the care of her loving children. After a long battle with cancer, the final weeks of her life were spent in quality time with her family. She leaves behind her children Vanessa, Marcus, Eric, Carlos, and Valeria, and her grandson, Mathias. She is survived by her brothers, Fileberto and Ferrell Barroso, and her sisters, Esperanza, Sirinia, Maria Elena, and Laura Barroso. Rosa’s parents Alvaro Barroso Reyes and Celia Reyes Zarate of Vista Hermosa, Mexico, predeceased her.

While our hearts mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. Rest in peace.
