We are heartbroken to share the passing of Ronald Williams, who left us on December 20, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on August 8, 1953, Ronald lived a life rooted in love, curiosity, and deep care for others.
Known affectionately as “Blue” to close family and friends, Ronald had a rare and gentle way of making people feel truly seen, heard, and welcomed. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grand-uncle, cousin, friend, and colleague, and he carried each of those roles with warmth and reliability. Ronald genuinely loved people, not just in passing, but in a way that made them feel valued and remembered.
He delighted in the simple, meaningful connections of life. Ronald loved exchanging cards and letters, taking the time to write thoughtful words that let others know they mattered. He was an avid reader who enjoyed books of all kinds and found joy in learning, reflecting, and writing. He especially loved listening to people’s life stories, watching children grow up, hearing about milestones, challenges, and triumphs, and celebrating the journeys of those around him. His presence was steady, encouraging, and deeply kind.
Ronald shared a profound bond with his twin sister, Lavonia Williams, who passed before him. Their connection was lifelong, and her memory remained close to his heart.
We are raising funds to help Ronald’s family with burial and memorial expenses, as well as other related costs during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden and allow the family to focus on honoring Ronald’s life and the love he gave so freely.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping the Williams family in your thoughts. Thank you for helping us honor and remember a man whose kindness, love of people, and quiet wisdom touched so many lives.
