Honoring Ron Peters: Help with Final Expenses
Donation protected
Heaven has gained an Angel. Ron Peters is with his Vernie once again. He cared for my mom in such a beautiful and loving way. There are not many people lucky enough to be cared for by a spouse of 37 years in the end, and he did it with such grace that I was able to say goodbye with all the love and support I needed, and I love him for that.
When we were bringing in hospice for my mom, he said, 'Okay, but only if I am the primary caregiver.' He and my mom were there for the other most important person in my life in her later years, my grandmother Mary McKeown. She taught me a great work ethic and to have confidence in myself to do anything. He said in the end, because he was there every day, he felt like my grandma knew him still, and that’s why it was so important for him to be there for my mom. He cared for his family and fur babies. He fed all the neighborhood animals. He picked up a stray on the highway when he went to get my mom's ashes, and the people from the funeral home still have the puppy, and he’s living his best life! I just wish I had the time to say goodbye and I love you one more time. As he would say almost every day on Facebook: 'Thank God for the day!'
Please help the family in taking care of his final expenses. And if you can’t help, please share.
