Hi, my name is Alyssa, and I'm writing this with a heavy heart as our family mourns the loss of my father, Ron O’Neal who passed away on 8/27/2025. (Services to be announced)

Anyone who knew my dad knew how much he loved life — especially the simple joys that made it meaningful. He had a lifelong passion for vintage cars; there was nothing he loved more than getting his hands on an old classic car and bringing it back to life, one piece at a time. It was more than just a hobby — it was his way of seeing the beauty in things others had given up on.

That same belief showed up in other ways, too — like his love for always betting on the underdog. Whether it was in sports, dog & horse racing, life, or people, he rooted for those who were overlooked, forgotten, or underestimated. He believed in second chances and in the power of perseverance.

But more than anything, my dad loved his friends and family. He was the kind of person who showed up — with a joke, a helping hand, or just his steady presence. He built deep bonds with the people around him, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter that we will carry with us forever.

He is survived by his children and grandchild, his loving brother and sister, his nephews, niece, great-nephew, and great-niece — all of whom will miss him dearly. Our hearts are broken, but we are grateful for every moment we had with him.

As we begin to make arrangements to give him the farewell he deserves, we’re facing some unexpected financial burdens. Costs have added up quickly, and we're hoping to raise funds to help cover the expenses for his service, burial and any remaining legal costs.
