My name is Josefina, and I am the mother of Roman Rufino Jr. It is with a heavy heart that I share that my son, Roman Rufino Jr., passed away on March 22, 2024. He was born on February 27, 2002, and in his 22 years, he brought so much love, light, and joy into our lives. Roman was more than just my son—he was my heart. He had a beautiful spirit, a kind soul, and a presence that touched everyone who knew him. His smile, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely will stay with us forever.

In the months leading up to losing Roman, my family also experienced the loss of my father, which made this time even more difficult to carry. Recently, I also lost my job due to my school closing, and it has made it financially challenging to provide the memorial I wish for my son. As a mother, one of the hardest things is not being able to give your child everything you wish you could.

Right now, I am asking for help to give my son a proper grave monument—a place that truly honors his life, his memory, and the love we will always have for him.
