We are honoring the life and legacy of Roberto Cordero, a kind, selfless, and generous man who touched countless lives through his work and friendship. Roberto was an Assistive Technology Specialist who dedicated his career to empowering blind, low vision, and deaf-blind individuals to find meaningful employment. His passion for helping others was evident every single day, and his impact reached far beyond the workplace.
Roberto came to the mainland from Puerto Rico after losing his immediate family, but he found a new family through his job and the community he served. His warmth, humor, and unwavering support made him a beloved friend and mentor to many. Now, as we gather to celebrate his life, we want to ensure he receives the memorial he deserves and that those handling his final affairs are supported.
We are raising funds to cover the costs of Roberto’s memorial service, travel, and related expenses for those managing his arrangements. The memorial service will be held on October 11th at 3pm at Rainier Avenue Church. Roberto’s best friend, Jeffrey Colon, will be overseeing everything through October 23rd. Your support will help us honor Roberto’s memory and provide comfort to those who loved him. Thank you for helping us celebrate a truly extraordinary life.
