Today we gather not only in grief, but also in gratitude—for the life of Roberto Armendariz who faced paralysis with courage, dignity, and an unshakable spirit.
Though his body was bound by physical limitations, his heart and mind soared far beyond those boundaries. He taught us that strength is not measured in steps taken, but in perseverance through hardship. He reminded us that resilience can be quiet, yet powerful—that the will to live fully does not depend on physical ability, but on the depth of love, faith, and hope within.
In his presence, we learned patience. We learned compassion. We learned that life’s true value lies not in what we can do, but in how we choose to face what we cannot. His days were not easy, yet they still brought light into the lives of those around them—through smiles, conversations, laughter, and even silence filled with understanding.
As we remember my father today, let us honor the legacy they leave behind: one of courage in the face of struggle, of perseverance despite pain, and of love that no limitation could ever diminish. Their journey reminds us to carry one another through life’s difficulties, to value every breath, and to never let circumstances define the soul.
Though their earthly struggles have ended, their spirit remains forever free—beyond limitation, beyond suffering, and beyond sorrow. May we find comfort in knowing that they are at peace, and may their example continue to inspire us to live with the same resilience and grace they showed us every day.
Expenses will go directly to the Funeral Costs.
