Robert Wayne Orton was born on September 21st, 2011, and was only 14 years old when his life was taken from him far too soon in a tragic Semi vs train accident in Iowa. Robert was an outgoing young man who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was known for his love of fishing, hunting, riding ATVs, and most of all, spending time in the Semi with his dad. His adventurous spirit and warm heart made him a beloved friend, son, and student.
As his mother, I am reaching out to our community for help with memorial expenses and to begin an honorary scholarship in Robert's name at his beloved school in Harrisburg, MO. The funds raised will go toward covering the costs of the memorial service and a celebration of life, allowing us to honor Robert in a way that reflects his vibrant personality and the love he shared with so many. Any remaining funds will be used to establish a scholarship that will carry forward his legacy and support other students in his memory.
Your support means the world to our family during this difficult time. We are grateful for any contribution, big or small, as we come together to celebrate Robert's life and ensure his spirit continues to inspire others. Thank you for helping us honor Robert and keep his memory alive.
