It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Air Force Disabled Veteran Robert A Salsberry Sr., born on August 27, 1951, who departed this life on August 25, 2025, just shy of his 74th birthday. Robert leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service that touched countless lives. He leaves behind his three children: Robert A Salsberry Jr., Rae Lynn Prideaux, and John Salsberry, as well as two additional children from a different relationship: Robert Reed and Jeremy Gillespie. His family now faces the difficult task of saying goodbye to such a wonderful individual.
As a disabled veteran, Robert did not have an insurance policy or the funds to cover the final cost of his burial. Unfortunately, his family is facing significant financial need and can only provide minimal assistance. This has prevented his cremated remains from being released until the bill has been paid in full, placing an enormous additional hardship on the family during an already difficult time.
We are reaching out to our extended community to help cover the final expenses for Robert’s memorial service. Every contribution will go directly to honoring his memory and easing the financial burden on his loved ones. Your support will allow the Salsberry family to focus on celebrating Robert’s life and legacy, rather than worrying about costs.
