We are raising funds to help cover the funeral and final expenses for Robert Naylor, who unexpectedly passed away on January 7, 2026. This sudden loss has left our family heartbroken and unprepared for the financial burden that comes with saying goodbye to a loved one.

Robert was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, uncle, and a loyal friend to many. His passing has deeply impacted everyone who knew him, especially Terrie and his children, who are now facing this difficult season of grief.

Robert Naylor 55, was born on June 20, 1970, in Des Moines, Iowa, He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother whose life was defined by love, hard work, and dedication to his family.

Robert was the son of Michael C. and Nancy. From an early age, he developed a love for the outdoors and carried that passion throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything that allowed him to be outside. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Above all, Robert’s family was his greatest joy. He was a hardworking and devoted provider who always made sure his family was cared for and protected.

In 1993, Robert met the love of his life, Terrie. The two were married on October 27, 1995, beginning 30 years of marriage built on love, faithfulness, and partnership. Together, they raised three sons—Tyler, Kolby, and Devin, Bonus Son Dylan Freeman, watching them grow into adulthood and start families of their own. Later in life, Robert and Terrie opened their hearts and raised three more boys: Jase (12), Kayden (9), and Jaxson (5), whom they loved and cherished deeply.

Robert worked as a HVAC technician for the State of Iowa, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Terrie Naylor; his children, Tyler White, Kolby (Miranda) Naylor, and Devin (Brooklyn) Naylor; his mother, Nancy Naylor-Molloy; sisters Michelle of Des Moines, Iowa, and Jessica of Arkport, New York; brothers Mike Naylor of Des Moines, Josh of Gainesville, Florida, and Jeremy of Des Moines, Iowa; and his six beloved grandchildren—Kylie, River John, Riley, Rowan, Willow and Ashaunte. Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Marilyn Pond; his father, Michael C. Naylor; his sister, Kandy; his father-in-law and best friend, Johnnie White; and his mother-in-law, Terrie Schreurs.

Funeral Arrangements:

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Iles Funeral Home, located at 3211 Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50317.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Redemption Life Church, located at 4148 E. 29th Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50317 with a dinner to follow.

Robert will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strength, and his generous heart. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.
