Honoring Rita Ansley's Legacy of Faith

Dear Family and Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I, Reginald Fountain, share the news of my beloved mother Rita Ansley’s passing. While our hearts ache in this moment, we take comfort in knowing that she is resting in the Lord she loved and served so faithfully.

My mother was a devoted Christian woman whose life was a testimony of faith, prayer, and service. She lived out the words of 2 Timothy 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” Her life was not just about believing in Christ but walking with Him daily.

She stood firm on God’s promises, showing kindness, compassion, and unwavering trust in the Lord’s plan. Like the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31:30, “Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” My mother’s beauty was found in her gentle spirit and her heart for God’s work.

Though we will miss her deeply, we rejoice in the assurance of John 14:1-3, where Jesus promises, “Let not your heart be troubled… I go to prepare a place for you… that where I am, there ye may be also.” I believe with all my heart that she now rests in Jesus Christ, free from pain and suffering.

We will honor her memory by continuing to live out the faith she so greatly cherished and by loving others as she loved us.

Thank you for your prayers, love, and support during this time.

With love and faith,
