Honoring Richard's Memory, Helping Briar

On Friday, May 9th, 2025 Sarah "Briar" Martin and her family were involved in a fatal rollover accident on the interstate.

She was in the back seat and, while the seat belt may have saved her life, she still suffered a number of critical injuries. Fractures to her spine, legs, and pelvis, broken ribs, lacerations on her liver, as well as the insurmountable mental trauma leave her with a lengthy and costly road to recovery.

Anything is appreciated in this time of need, every little bit counts, and the support from the community has already been overwhelming. All proceeds earned go towards Briar's hospital expenses, as well as her physical and mental recovery in the difficult months to come.

Briar has such a beautiful, unique personality, always cracking jokes and making others feel welcomed and warm no matter how short a time she's known them. Her light was brightened by that of her partner, Richard Patrick, who was tragically lost during this same accident. His passing is felt by an entire community, grief stricken and lost. There is a separate GFM established for his funeral expenses, to which every donation is cherished and appreciated beyond measure as we aim to assist his family through this dark time.
