Honoring Retta Paulsen’s Loving Legacy

Retta Paulsen was the kind of person who made a difference in every life she touched. She was an animal lover through and through, caring for every creature that crossed her path. Retta gave her time freely to help others, always putting the needs of friends, family, and even strangers before her own. Her kindness was unmatched—she truly loved everyone and wanted the best for those around her. She changed my life for the better countless times, always there to support me and those she cared about.

This past year has been incredibly difficult. Retta spent a full year in the hospital, which led to a loss of work and mounting medical bills. The costs of travel, caring for her beloved animals, and daily living expenses have added up quickly. Now, with the high price of funeral arrangements, our family is facing more financial strain than we can manage alone. I am organizing this fundraiser to help cover outstanding medical bills, funeral expenses, food, and support for her animals, so we can honor Retta’s memory in the way she deserves.

Retta was not only a devoted mother to her child and four stepchildren, but she also took care of everyone around her. She cooked, cleaned, did yard work, and always made sure her animals were loved and safe. Her legacy is one of compassion, generosity, and unwavering love.
