Reita Linton was more than just a friend—she was family to me for over 30 years. Originally from Roswell, New Mexico, Reita moved to Lawton, Oklahoma in 2022, where she spent the last four years of her life. On February 8, 2026, Reita passed away, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and cherished memories. Her final wish was simple yet deeply meaningful: to be cremated and have her ashes spread on the beach in Jacksonville, Florida, a place that held special significance for her.

Fulfilling this wish means covering the costs of cremation and making the journey to Jacksonville. The expenses are more than I can manage alone, but I am determined to honor Reita’s memory in the way she wanted. Every dollar raised will go directly toward making her final journey possible, ensuring her last wish is fulfilled with the dignity and love she deserves.
