Honoring Rebecca: a Fighter, a Beautiful Soul, & Inspiration
Donation protected
At just 16 years old, my little sister Rebecca was diagnosed with cancer last August. She faced an unimaginable battle, but through it all, she never gave up. She was strong, brave, and relentless, fighting with everything she had. Even when the treatments became unbearable, she pushed forward with every bit of courage and resilience.
But in the end, it wasn’t the cancer that won. Unfortunately, her body simply couldn’t keep up. After months of fighting, we were faced with an impossible decision when her lungs were failing. The doctors told us surgery would be a gamble, and we just couldn’t let her suffer any longer. On Wednesday morning, March 5th, at just 17 years old, Rebecca took her last breath.
But let me be clear, she never gave up. Her cancer was going away. She was still fighting. She stayed brave, determined, and full of life until the very end. If she had a choice, she would have kept going, pushing through every treatment without hesitation. That’s who she was.
Beyond her battle, Rebecca was an extraordinary person. She had ambition, guts, and a relentless drive. Whether it was singing, acting, music, art, or even her favorite sport, tennis, she pursued everything with passion and determination. She was multi-talented, full of dreams, and had so much ahead of her. She deserved more time.
Now, our family is facing the heartbreaking reality of planning a funeral for someone so young and so loved. As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we’re also asking for help with the financial burden that comes with it. We want to give Rebecca the farewell she deserves, and we’re asking for help from anyone who can contribute.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward her funeral expenses and helping our family through this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this means just as much.
Rebecca left an unforgettable impression on everyone she met—a kind-hearted, inspiring young woman who touched so many lives. She never stopped fighting, and I hope her story continues to inspire others to keep pushing forward, no matter how hard life gets.
Thank you for your love, support, and for keeping her memory alive. May our sweet and beautiful Rebecca rest in paradise.
