On December 3, 2025, the world lost a truly beautiful soul — Reagan Danielle Saunders, age 28. She passed away peacefully after a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Reagan was a beloved daughter, sister, fiancée, friend, and a light in every room she walked into. Her smile, her humor, her kindness, and the way she genuinely cared for others made her unforgettable.

I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend Sierra Saunders and the entire Saunders family. Their hearts are shattered, and the financial burden of funeral costs during this devastating time has become overwhelming. This fundraiser is to help the family give Reagan the peaceful, dignified service she deserves.

Reagan was born on May 13, 1997, in Frederick, MD. She completed her Certified Nursing Assistant program at Frederick Community College and earned her Technical Writing Certification from Oregon State University. She had beautiful dreams of becoming a technical writer and beginning her future with her fiancé, Luis Lopez.

Reagan touched countless lives with her gentle heart and genuine compassion. She loved spending time with family and friends, training her dog Creed, playing video games, adventuring with her best friend Haley, and enjoying her favorite foods — tacos, pupusas, Italian dishes, and her favorite chicken Pad See Ew. Even in pain, she still managed to laugh, smile, and make others feel loved.

Her strength during her cancer battle was extraordinary. She faced every treatment with courage and gratitude, creating lifelong bonds with the staff at University of Maryland Medical Center, who visited her even on their days off. She truly made an impact everywhere she went.

Reagan had a deep love for God, clinging to her faith even in her hardest moments. We find comfort knowing she is now at peace, healed, and rejoicing in Heaven.
