Honoring Ray Lozano: A True Community Leader

Thank you for visiting this page. This GoFundMe is dedicated to one of the greatest men I have ever met or known—my big brother, Ray Lozano, our real-life Batman. He was called to watch over us after bravely fighting a tough battle with Stage 4 cancer.

If you knew him or even had the briefest encounter with him, I can guarantee he left a positive impact on you in some way. I grew up admiring his dedication, passion, faith, and love for family, friends, and colleagues. He was truly the embodiment of what a real man should be.

Ray loved all types of music and was well known for his diverse taste and playlists. He was also a comic book enthusiast—fitting, since he was a real-life superhero. His favorite character was Batman, of course. Professionally, he was a pioneer in his field, serving as the Executive Director of Equity and Community Engagement for EPISD. He led the way with tact, initiative, and integrity—just as superheroes do.

Thank you, big bro, for everything you have done for all of us. The world truly needs more men like you, and I can't wait to see you again. As your beautiful, amazing Cynthia said, you loved everything superhero-related, so you’re just hanging out and having fun in the Multiverse. Much love, big bro!
