Many of you know how much the past two years have centered around caring for my dad. On December 22, 2025, we said goodbye to him. While my heart is broken, I’m grateful that he passed peacefully and is now at rest.
My dad, Quy Van Vuong, lived a life defined by resilience, humor, and deep devotion to family. After fleeing Vietnam during the war, he rebuilt his life in the United States and eventually made Winter Haven his home. He was a proud pilot, a longtime restaurateur, a sharp dresser, a great cook, and someone who could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. He found joy in bringing people together—especially around a good meal.
As we prepare to honor him with a Catholic Funeral Mass and memorial service, several friends have asked how they can help. This GoFundMe was created for anyone who wishes to contribute toward funeral and memorial service expenses. There is absolutely no obligation — your prayers, kind messages, and continued support mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping us honor my dad’s life and legacy.
With love and gratitude,
Janet
