Our beloved father, Prof. Hari Karanjit, passed away peacefully in the twilight hours of 1st April 2026 in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. Born in Nepal, he was a lifelong educator, a devoted family man, and a selfless giver to all he loved around the world. His later years were affected by atypical Alzheimer’s and early dementia, but his spirit and kindness continued to inspire everyone who knew him. His departure leaves a profound silence, yet his life continues to echo in the countless hearts he touched across continents and generations.
In his legacy, we are raising funds to contribute to the aged in Nepal, with the hope of alleviating the impact of Alzheimer’s for other families struggling with care. These causes were deeply personal to our father, and we want to continue his tradition of selfless giving. The funds raised will be used to support organizations and charities in Nepal that provide essential care, fund groundbreaking research, and offer support to families affected by Alzheimer’s. We are committed to choosing the most suitable organizations that match our father's wishes and will keep everyone updated on the progress of this journey.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference. By contributing, you will help fund research, provide essential support and care, and bring us closer to a future free from Alzheimer’s. Thank you for considering a contribution to honor the wishes that were close to his heart and his later life. Your support means the world to us and to the families who will benefit from these efforts.
