Honoring Preston Harding: Support for Final Expenses

How many times can someone start a paragraph and erase it? Stare at the text box willing words that just won't come? This is a fundraiser I prayed I'd never have to make.

On August 7th, Preston Harding lost his battle with addiction after more than 4.5 years of continuous sobriety. When he lost his battle, my three sons lost their daddy. I lost a wonderful friend and coparent. Emily lost her fiance. His family lost their son, brother, cousin, nephew. And countless friends lost someone they had come to know as an extremely kind, funny, and all around wonderful human being.

As next of kin, our 14 year old son should not have to deal with this a week before his 15th birthday, but here we are.

I am asking for donations to cover his final expenses. Preston had expressed a desire to be cremated and we not only want to honor his wishes, but provide a memorial for those of us mourning to gather and celebrate his life. I also ask that you please share any photos or stories you have so they can be part of that memorial. Any additional funds raised will go to his children. Anyone who knew him knows he loved kids, especially his boys.
