Our family has started this fundraiser due to the passing of our beloved Poppa Joe, a husband, a father, a stepfather, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle, a son, a cousin, and a friend to so many. He lived, loved, laughed, and left us way too soon.

Before his passing, my stepfather and mother were already facing serious health issues and ongoing financial difficulties. Life had been especially hard on them, and they were doing their best just to get by. Tragically, with Poppa Joe passing, our family is now grieving his loss while trying to manage the financial burden left behind.

At the same time, my mother is currently hospitalized and dealing with significant health concerns of her own. She has lost her husband while also fighting for her own well-being, and the emotional and financial strain has been devastating for all of us.

This fundraiser is to help cover funeral expenses and to support our family as we navigate medical bills, basic living costs, and the challenges that come with loss and illness happening all at once. We are simply trying to stay afloat during a time when everything feels uncertain.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help ease this burden and allow our family to focus on healing, supporting one another, and honoring the life of a man who meant so much to us. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
