On January 25th, the world lost a bright light. We received the devastating news that our beloved brother, son, and friend, Po Yu, has passed away.

Po was truly one of a kind. He was the most positive, supportive, and selfless person many of us have ever known. He didn't just walk into a room; he brought the energy with him, making it his mission to ensure everyone around him was laughing and happy. To Po, no one was a stranger for long—he had a way of welcoming people into his circle with open arms, turning friends into family instantly.

Po was the "glue" for so many of us. He spent his life making sure others felt seen, heard, and loved. Whether it was through a perfectly timed joke, a supportive word during a hard time, or simply his infectious laugh, he touched countless hearts. It is heartbreaking to lose a soul so beautiful, but we are all better people for having known him.

We are starting this fundraiser to help Po’s family navigate the unexpected financial costs that come with such a profound loss. Po spent his life giving to others, and we want to honor his spirit by lifting some of the burden off his family’s shoulders. We know this is exactly what Po would have wanted us to do.
