Honoring Peter’s Memory - Raising Money for Cancer Research

Tax deductible
My name is Lilly, and I’m creating this fundraiser in memory of my stepdad, Peter, who passed away three months ago after a short but devastating battle with stage 4 esophageal cancer.

From the day he was diagnosed to the day we had to say goodbye was only two months—two months that felt painfully short yet filled with unforgettable love. Despite the pain and uncertainty he faced, Peter never lost his ability to smile. He spent his final weeks laughing, showing love, and reminding us of the joy he carried with him.

Peter was so much more than his illness. He was loving, dependable, and someone you could always count on. He had a passion for life and was a proud Indianapolis Colts fan. His favorite player was Andrew Luck, who wore number 12—a number Peter cherished.

To honor Peter’s life, I’ve set a goal to raise $12,000 for the American Cancer Society, a number chosen in memory of his favorite #12. Every donation will go toward funding cancer research, supporting patients and families, and giving others more time with the people they love.

Peter’s journey was cut short, but his memory inspires me to keep moving forward and to help others who are still fighting. If you’re able to contribute, no matter the amount, please know you are helping me honor his legacy in the most meaningful way possible.

Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
