Perry Lee Jr. (PJ / Ororo Taylor) was a bright, loving, and free-spirited 22-year-old whose presence brought joy and laughter to everyone around them. They had a unique way of making people feel seen and loved, and their fun-loving nature made every moment spent with them memorable.
PJ’s family, friends, and community are devastated by their sudden and tragic passing in a hit and run on Saturday, December 20, 2025. The shock of losing someone so young and full of life is something no family should ever have to endure, especially during the holiday season.
As PJ’s aunt, I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my sister-in-law, Lashanda Smith, and brother-in-law, Perry Lee, Sr., to help them navigate this unimaginable loss. The expenses that come with saying goodbye—funeral and burial costs—are overwhelming, especially in the midst of such deep grief. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow PJ’s family to focus on healing and honoring their memory.
During this unimaginable time of loss, the family appreciates your prayers and support. Your kindness and generosity mean more than words can express. Thank you for helping us celebrate PJ’s life and support the family as we all seek comfort and closure.
