Peggy’s Place, Inc. was forged in the quiet strength of a journey defined by love and the profound, transformative grace of community. Our foundation serves as a living tribute to our daughter, Peggy—a spirit who navigated nine years with the courage of a warrior before finding peace following complications of Cerebral Palsy.

In Kentucky alone, nearly 31% of children are recognized as medically complex. These children live with a bravery that is often invisible, yet they are met with a systemic injustice: due to their medical history, they are frequently denied the basic protection of life insurance. When our world was fractured by Peggy’s passing, we were confronted with the heavy, unthinkable reality of funeral and memorial arrangements amidst the weight of grief.

In our darkest hour, we witnessed the beauty of human kindness. Through the overwhelming generosity of our community, the financial burden was lifted, allowing us the sacred space to focus solely on honoring our daughter. It was at that moment we realized every parent deserves that same grace—the freedom to grieve without the shadow of debt.

Restoring Dignity: We provide financial stewardship for funeral, burial, and memorial expenses, ensuring that no family inherits a legacy of debt while honoring the life of their child.

Providing Presence:

We offer the gift of shared understanding—a compassionate community that walks beside special needs parents, offering a sanctuary of friendship, shared tears, and unwavering support.
