In Loving Memory of Patrick Mandaza (March 27, 1947 – June 7, 2025)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patrick Mandaza, a beloved father, grandfather, friend, and community member. Born on March 27, 1947, and called to eternal rest on June 7, 2025, Patrick lived a full and inspiring life defined by compassion, faith, and dedication to others.
Patrick was a man of deep conviction and unwavering kindness. A devoted Christian, he walked in faith throughout his life, sharing love and encouragement with everyone he met. He was a proud alumnus of Oxford University, where he earned a degree in Business. His brilliance and work ethic led him to a successful career in the financial sector, culminating in his retirement from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.
In his younger years, Patrick was not only a scholar but also an athlete, playing football in England’s Essex League. His love of sport was matched by a passion for travel, he was an avid world explorer who found joy in learning about other cultures and forging global connections.
Patrick had a heart that welcomed many. Over the years, he became a father figure to more than just his biological children. Whether it was offering guidance, financial support, or simply a warm meal, he gave selflessly and consistently. He believed in the power of community and carried himself with humility, wisdom, and grace.
We are raising funds to honor Patrick’s legacy with dignity and to support final arrangements. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated as we celebrate the life of a man who gave so much to so many.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this time.
