This fundraiser was created by Catherine Ivey Lee and Martha Sottosanti on behalf of their very good friend Lara Diamond Phillips following the unexpected passing of her husband, Patrick (Pat) Phillips. Lara is the designated beneficiary of this fundraiser, and all donations will be transferred directly to her bank account to help support her family. Funds will be used to cover funeral and cremation expenses, transportation costs, immediate household and living expenses, and other financial needs as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

Our dear friend, Lara, and her sons, Ryan and Tate, unexpectedly lost their beloved husband and father in a tragic accident while surfing in Tahiti.

Patrick lived fully and positively impacted so many people - through his kids' schools, the surfing community, and more. Those who knew him knew his generous heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. Patrick spent his life helping others in ways big and small and left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The outpouring of love and stories shared over the past several days has been a testament to just how deeply he was loved.

As Lara and their boys navigate this unimaginable grief, they are also facing the many unexpected expenses that come with such a sudden loss, including bringing him home and the financial challenges of rebuilding life without him.
