Honoring Pastor Genovevo Lubaton & Ministry

We are setting up this GoFundMe page to give those who have been touched by the ministry of Tatay Genovevo Lubaton an opportunity to give back and honor his life of service. Tatay's death was unexpected and came with unexpected needs. Current and future needs include bringing Tatay back to California, cover other costs of the funeral, medical bills, current bills and ongoing support for Nanay as she was dependent on Tatay's income. 

We thank you for your donations! Your gift today is God providing for His servant to the end. In the same token that God has used Tatay to bring blessings to many of you, we trust God would use you to meet Tatay and Nanay’s needs.  We rejoice in this and all glory goes to our faithful God!

On July 19, while visiting with my brother and his family in Arkansas, our father experienced a massive ruptured aneurysm and was brought to the hospital.  The doctors had diagnosed that he had severe bleeding in his brain and had life threatening damage to the brain. We were told these things don't give signals of their arrival and truly this was sudden to the whole family. 

We then asked for prayers from everyone for we believe in our Heavenly Father who hears our prayers and can heal anything. We appreciate all the prayers and support for Tatay; however God was leading Tatay to go home to heaven. This became evident after observing his deterioration for three days. On Thursday July 22,  Tatay left this earth for heaven. We prayed for a miracle and it happened. One moment he was here and the next he was with our Lord in heaven. We witnessed the miracle of being absent from the body and present with the Lord. We prayed for healing and now he has no pains but rather much rejoicing with our Maker. We prayed for comfort and courage and our family has been able to get through these sensitive and difficult days.

We still need your help & prayers! Tatay was such a wonderful provider for our family. I still remember him riding a bicycle to a car rental place to wash vehicles to support and supply for his family. He faithfully served God planting and growing churches. Tatay would not want to be a burden financially to Nanay but rather a blessing to her and the family. Your contribution today will help her tremendously for her current and future needs.

Although these funds cannot possibly cover the price of loss and grief, we hope this will lighten the financial burdens we are facing to respectfully honor Tatay and help Nanay moving forward.
