My name is Britta Gammon and I am setting up a GoFundMe page for my dad, Brett Olsen, or as many knew him as Papi. Papi was well known and loved by many throughout his whole life.

These last few years were fairly hard on his health as he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He had to have his bladder and prostate removed in October of 2025 and have a spot blasted on his liver in February 2026. Unfortunately, the cancer had a mind of it's own and by May of 2026, it was in his bones. It didn't take long for the cancer to completely take over and by June 18th, he was gone.

Papi leaves behind a loving wife, Wanda, of 28 years (together for over 30), 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and multiple "adoptive" children that considered him to be family growing up.

We are creating this page so that everyone that loved him could have the opportunity to help out if possible with putting Papi to rest. The plan is to have him cremated and to have him placed in an urn. Further plans for a life celebration will be discussed but at a later time.
