Giving Papa the Peaceful Goodbye He Deserves

It is with a heavy heart that I am asking for help to give my dad the funeral services he deserves. My dad did not have life insurance or plans in place for his passing, this has our family facing very costly funeral and memorial expenses during an already heartbreaking time.

We will be taking my dad home to Chicago and have services there on 05/29/2026 more details to follow and all who loved him are invited to attend.

For the last 12 years, since the passing of my mom, my dad has lived with me and Ruben. Having him with us was a blessing, and the bond we shared is something many people may never get to experience. He was an amazing man who spent his whole life taking care of others. He was generous, loving, and always willing to help anyone in need. He truly had the kindest heart. He was simply loveable Les and papa to so many. He truly was the best dad, Papa, brother, friend to so many.

My dad also battled Parkinson’s disease, a cruel illness that took so much from him, yet he continued to show strength and love through it all. Before his passing, our family took on the financial responsibility of keeping him in private care because we wanted him to live his final days with dignity, peace, and proper attention rather than being neglected in a traditional nursing home environment. While it was costly, it was a choice we made out of love so he could be cared for the way he deserved.

Because of those expenses, we did not have the means to prepare financially for his passing, which is why I am humbly asking for help now. If you are able to donate, any amount would mean so much to our family and help us give him the respectful and beautiful farewell he deserves back home in Chicago.
