Losing James William Brannon, has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. He was more than just Papa James, he was our steady presence, our protector, and the kind of man who showed his love through his actions every single day. Whether it was through his stories, his laughter, or simply the comfort of knowing he was always there, he made the people around him feel safe and cared for.
James had a deep love for music, especially rock, and loved playing the guitar. He found so much joy in the traveling and spending time with his family. Some of our most cherished memories are our trips to Hawaii together, where he was happiest surrounded by his loved ones. Above all else, he adored his wife and grandchildren. Being their “Papa James” was one of the greatest joys of his life, and they were truly the light of his world.
After a very short and hard-fought battle with cancer, we had to say goodbye far sooner than we were ready for. In the last several months of his life, our mom became his primary caregiver and unable to work very much. While we are grateful for the time we had with him, the emotional weight of losing him has been compounded by the financial burden left behind. The cost of treatments, hospital visits and ongoing medical care has resulted in significant medical bills that our family is now facing.
We are asking for help for our mom during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering his outstanding medical expenses and easing the financial strain for our mom as she grieves.
Thank you for supporting us and for honoring the life and memory of James William Brannon. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
