To many, she was Pamela Johnson — but I had the privilege of calling her Pam, my dear sister-friend.
Pamela recently passed, leaving behind a void that words can barely describe. I had the honor of knowing her for over a decade, and in that time, she became one of the most important people in my life — shaping who I am in ways I will always carry with me.
Pam was known for her big smile and an even bigger heart. She loved her family and friends more than anything in this world. She was a strong Black woman who carried the weight of the world on her shoulders without complaint, without hesitation — always showing up for the people she loved.
What made Pamela truly remarkable was her journey. She grew from hardship into something beautiful — a woman who turned her life around and bloomed fully into herself. To know her was to love her. It really was that simple.
She raised a strong, loving family, and her legacy deserves to be honored.
Any contribution — large or small — will go directly toward her funeral arrangements and supporting the family she loved so deeply. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
With love and gratitude!
