Also referred to as “Concurrent Care,” but whatever you call it, it feels like the beginning of the end.

Since September 2024, Owen “the Warrior” Sanchez has been fighting the hardest battle anyone could ever face, the fight for his life. He began this journey just before his 5th birthday and is now 6 years old. Diagnosed with CNF Melanoma and hydrocephalus, his life has been filled with countless doctor’s appointments, hospital stays, chemotherapy, surgeries, immunotherapy, and radiation. Through it all, Owen has shown strength, courage, and resilience far beyond his years.

Heartbreakingly, we have now reached the point where all medical treatment options have been exhausted. Owen has been brought home to spend his remaining time surrounded by the people who love him most, his family and close friends.

We do not know when the time will come, but we do know that his absence will leave an unmeasurable void in the lives of all who know and love him. We are asking for donations to help support Owen’s parents and sisters, Alejandro, Alexa, Olivia, and Letty, with end of life arrangements and medical expenses not fully covered by insurance.

Thank you for keeping Owen and his family in your prayers, and for standing with us throughout this unimaginable journey. Owen is a fighter. He is a warrior. And he will always be remembered as one.
