Our mom was the kind of person who made everyone feel like family. She had a quirky, loving personality and a heart that was always open to anyone who needed comfort, advice, a laugh, or a good meal. To so many in our neighborhood and beyond, she wasn’t just a mom to us—she was a mom to anyone who needed one. She had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Losing her has left an incredible hole in our hearts and in the community that loved her so much.
