Hello to our beloved communities,

Our dad is in his final days, and our family is in the process of saying goodbye. We are blessed to be able to be present with him through this portal, and are so grateful for the medical care he continues to receive.

He will be laid to rest with honors at the Houston National Cemetery, where he will be remembered not just as a veteran, but as a man who was fully devoted to his family and country, living every day in service to something greater than himself.

While the Veteran's Administration provides this burial site and other benefits at this time, we have found that the remaining funeral costs would be financially devastating for our mother, in a time when she most needs to be resourced.

This GoFundMe would cover the funeral, wake, casket, and any other costs that may come up this week. Anything that remains will go toward making the next month of upheaval as smooth as possible for our Mom.
