Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
It is incredibly hard to write these words. Our dad is losing his battle with colon cancer, and our hearts are breaking as we prepare to say goodbye to the man who has been our protector, our teacher, and our greatest source of love. He is not just our father — he is our hero. He spent his entire life putting others before himself. If you needed help, he was there. If you were hurting, he carried your pain. If you were struggling, he found a way to lift you up. He would give you his last dollar, his last bit of strength, and never ask for anything in return. That’s just who he is.
Watching someone so strong fade away is something we wouldn’t wish on anyone. Through every doctor’s appointment, every difficult day, and every painful moment, he has shown courage and grace. Even now, he worries more about us than himself. As we face the unimaginable, we are asking for help to give our dad the dignity and remembrance he deserves. We are hoping to raise funds for a gravestone — a permanent place where we can visit him, talk to him, and honor the incredible life he lived. We want something that reflects the love he gave so freely and the impact he made on everyone around him.
This is one of the hardest things we have ever had to ask for. If you are able to contribute, no matter the amount, it will help us more than we can ever explain. And if you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping our family in your prayers during this devastating time. Thank you for helping us honor a man who meant the world to us.
With broken but grateful hearts,
