Help Us Honor Our Dad, A Retired Air Force Veteran

Two days ago, our family experienced an unexpected and heartbreaking loss. Our Dad—a proud retired Air Force veteran, a man of quiet strength, and someone who spent his life putting others before himself—passed away suddenly.

What we did not know until after his passing was that he no longer had health insurance. Due to the rising costs of coverage and the many health issues he faced, he made the difficult choice to go without, and he kept this burden to himself. He didn’t want to worry any of his children, and we believe he hoped he could manage things on his own.

Now, as we are grieving, we are also facing a wave of unexpected expenses: cremation costs, transportation of his body, and multiple mortuary fees. These costs have placed a significant financial strain on our family at a time when we are just trying to focus on honoring him and laying him to rest with the dignity he deserves.

Our Dad served his country with pride. He never asked for much, and he always believed in taking care of others before himself. We are humbly asking for help so we can take care of him one last time.
